Hey guys, I have a question. For all of those here who have the K2 or Eagle Eyes G3 tail lights. I am not sure of the exact name, they seem to have several! But, I have read through the posts concerning the issues with these lights, but not the one I'm after.

I installed these on my mom's 2008 Yukon Denali, and they work. Don't fit great, but fixed that... However, there is one thing that bugs the hell out of me. When you are pushing the brake and the brake lights come on (good) but, at the same time while pressing the brake, you decide to use the turn signal, the LED tail light will blink, but NOT with the LED signal built into the outside mirror. If you are pressing the brakes and use the signal, they alternate. It looks so stupid! But, if you aren't pressing the brake, the tail light and mirror will blink together.

Will you guys who have these check and see if it does it for you too? It also does it while pressing the brakes and turning on the hazards. Mirrors and tails won't blink together.

I can't really help you with that since I have only LED tails and not the mirror signals. But I can assure you it happens to everyone else.
Plus how dod mon get that big LED 3rd brake light on her Yukon, it should be the smaller one, did you'll but it aftermarket?

Wonderful! Escalade lights would be the best, but way too pricey and time consuming to install.

The big brake light is from the Escalade. I just got the new spoiler and brake light from the dealer, had it painted and installed. Very easy on the GMT900. You no longer have to replace the glass like you did on the GMT800.

Nnaboy, can you post a pic of the IPCWs on your Tahoe? I'm thinking of that same setup on my Denali but wanted to see a pic of the bermuda blacks installed before I buy.

Look at the "Lighting Write-Up" in the 07 Technical section.
Its my thread so I have pics of it there, but no 3rd brake light pics until I install them, have them but just haven't put them on!

I have the Eagle Eyes and can assure you that my mirror LEDs work w/ or w/o the brake on.

I installed the 3gen tails last week and went out to the garage to see if they act as you described, and they don't. They work as good as the OEM lights.
By the way, I think they blink a little faster though. How are yours 73shark? And thanks for the tip, I bought the 3gens.

He said with the brake applied they flash together, and when its not applied the interchange! Mirrir, LED, Mirror, LED instead of Mirror&LED, Mirror&LED and so on.

Yep, that's right. Never paid any attention to it. Probably due to the way the Eagle Eye black box is set up.

Other way around...when applying the brake and using a signal, they alternate (mirror, then tail...mirror, then tail). Applying no brakes and using signal gets (mirror & tail, mirror & tail.... just like OEM)

I never noticed any difference in flash rate but then I never noticed the fact that the mirrors and tails alternate w/ brakes applied.
