I would like to start off by saying hello to all the read this. Heres my problem:

I have a 1998 Tahoe LT. I only drive it in the winter. I just changed the starter and had a tune up the other day.I drove to work the other day, no problem. Get off and shes dead. I get a jump and drive homme (I only stay 7 mins from the job) but the whole way shes driving sluggish and whatnot. I get home and crawl under to see if somethings missing (its been a rash of catalytic converter being stolen off carn right in front of ppl home's in the area) and this is what I found. Can anyone help me out to see what these wires go to?

TIA.
The first pic is the wire hanging. Its 3 wires inside tthe loom. the second is the direction the loom travels in. From the passenger side of the truck to the drivers.

Looks like it is from near the transfer case, is there a plug with wires missing on it? What color are the wires? Any SES light/codes?

IMAG0056.jpgIts two wires in that loom...red and brown (dingy due to age and weather). I tried to take a pics witch I attached. I also looked to see where it could go and camme up with nothing. Once I get it running I'll shoot to one of the autoparts store in my area. (To me it looks like something "chewed" on it. Dayum possums and raccoons!!!)
