Great White North that is. Just checking in here, I'm a new member but an old owner. I have a 1999 Tahoe LS 4x4 its my second Tahoe, got my first (1995) used and loved it, decided to upgrade to the 1999 when it was announced that GM wasn't making this body style anymore.
Well the old girl is getting long in the tooth (189,000K) and she's starting to leak, I figured I better start looking into upgrading here, I had considered trading her in on something else but she's been very good to me and I like her.
I looking at doing the HT383E engine swap along with rebuilding the tranny and maybe adding a better rearend.
So far I've only upgraded to a cold air intake (AEM) and a Cat back exhaust system ( Flow Master).
