Hello everybody,
So I'm a futur Tahoe's owner, I' going to buy next week a model 2003 with 20400 kms (and not miles, yes, I'm in France).....
It's a Green one, 8 places, LT witch run with flexfuel (ethanol in french) without special system for.
I'm 57 years old and always appreciate the american way of life. I never go in your country, it's a dream that will be done one day, sure!!! I hope !!
I live in France at 63 kms of PARIS, maried with 2 children.
Two business : controller for ORANGE (telecom) and bike and bicycle retailler, that cool.

It's difficult in France to discuss about american car, normal, not a lot to run. So I'm happy to read your posts and I'll have many questions about technical.
My first one is about the audio system. I would to remplace the original by one with GPS and tactil....If you have information about that and retailler to show to me....Wonderfull.
I'll need the door lamp to...

But I think that these questions are not at the right place in the forum.
Congratulations

Welcome to the forum! You came to the right place for all questions tahoe! i have always been a fan of chevy cars as they are cheap, easy to work on, and last a long time, however they all have a few common problems. The nice thing being a chevy is the simplicity to work on them! 5.3 is an all around excellent motor that will most likely run for a long time with a little help.
As for a navigation system, your options are limitless. There are so many double din units that will bolt right up and plug right in you would be suprised. Try checking www.amazon.com and type in what your looking for along with the proper year/model/trim level and you will be flooded with options reviews and help.
Good luck!

Great thanks for the answer.
I'll look for the audio system on amazon shop as you tell to me.

My future TAHOE run with flexfuel (ethanol) without additional system. In America, is-it usually as fuel and is there some particular system ou housing to have a very proper fonctioning?

So, i go workin now,I need money to buy it .........and fuel in France is very, too much, expansive.

Best regards.

I would stay away from flex fuel. Gas milage is significantly reduced when running it. Regular unleaded is the best bet

Hello,
In France, gasoline is very expensive : Regular unleaded= 1,40€ and ethanol = 0,70€. I don't know how many exactly in $, but drive in France is a luxe sometimes.....Too much taxes in my country !!!!:smoke2:
So, the american cars which run in France, it's GPL a lot and now, flexfuel.

Bye
