bowhunter. thanks bro!
about 2 weeks ago i ran a garden hose (with prety damn good pressure) thru the core. a bunch of nasty shyt came out. i went from hose to hose until it looked like pure water.
although all i did was fill up the overflow bottle and go.
should i take the cap off and run it thru a heat cycle? and should i flush it out again with vinegar over nite? thanks again man. its too cold to not have heat! lol

Just another thought on your blend door. I could see my blend door functioning but it turned out to have a cracked gear on the inside, so it looked like it was working but it was not turning the door. pop it off and take a look. It takes a couple of hours and a lot of frustration.

I was going to pull it off after thinking about the system for a couple of days... I thought that maybe that it fell off and it turns but just isn't turning to open the door. I still have the dash somewhat torn apart and I'll try that next. If that isn't the problem.... what could it be next.... In the wiring diagram it shows 3 actuators.... where and what does the third actuator control do? The diagram calls it a tempature control actuator... two of them????????

I believe the thrid one controls the rear a/c. Mainly because you have the option to buy a blend door actuator for the rear a/c. Thats the only other place I can think of one. To remove the actuator all I ended up taking out was the glove box and the cig. lighter assembly. I took most of the dash apart and realized it did me know good.

If you are looking at the actuator from the back of it the screw that is on the passenger side is the pain. I ended up cuttin a 7/32 socket down to about have of its original size then picking up a set of these socket adapters.

I also cut about 1/4" of and inch off of the screw so it goes back in easier.

Any questions feel free to email me.
