I just got an 03' tahoe and I'm having a problem with my heated seats. When I push the back/seat buttons on the driver and passenger side the lights light up real quick and go off instantly. Under the dash on the drivers side makes a clicking sound when I hit the buttons and nothing happens. I can't tell if a fuse has gone bad or whats goin on. Didn't know if anyone has ran into this problem before and can save me a trip to the shop. I have read other posts to see if anyones had this happen before but none of the problems match up. Any ideas?-thanks

I have a 2008 Denali and I have the exact same problem. The car is only 1 day old. I may have to go back to the dealer. Did you solve the problem yet?

well... you have the convenience of using your warranty. I've done a little more research on this problem and found someone who had the same deal. Said the bottom cushion heater elements were bad and replaced them and they worked. I ordered new bottom heating elements from gmpartsdirect and I'll put them in using the tutorial i found and I'll post if that fixed it. It's weird how both are not working and do the same thing. If replacing them doesnt fix it, then I'll just take it to a dealer or shop.

I just returned from the dealer. Both rear seat heating elements were bad in my 2008 Denali. It came from the factory like this. Because the car was only 2 days old, my dealer swapped the seats from another car and solved my problem. What happened to quality control? How could this car have left the plant with both rear seat heaters bad?
