I am a proud owner of an 07 Tahoe Z71 LTZ. I have 3 questions.
1. Is there any way to extend the remote start timer. It is set to 5 min?
2.Is there a mod out to make the rear passenger windows go down all the way.
3. Every time I turn sharp in a parking lot my front tires squeal, In my rear diff locked?

1) According to the owner's manual and in my experience, it runs for 10 minutes and then shuts off. Doesn't look like you can change the time on that.
2) Because of the design of the rear door, you cannot get the windows down all the way like the Suburban does - physically impossible.
3) Don't have the knowledge about rear differentials, but I know that my tires squeal like hell when making sharp turns everywhere, always thought they were just gripping good, especially on dry pavement. On wet, they don't do it.

Just a technicality...but I don't think it is possible to have a Z71 LTZ....most likely a Z71 package w/LT3 option group.

My tires screech as well...all the time, was hoping that with some wear they would settle down a bit...but w/15,000 miles on the odometer they are still screeching during sharp turns.

Sory for the mistake on my part, u are right it is not a LTZ it is a LT3.

Per the owner's manual, you can extend the original ten minutes by ten more minutes by hitting the remote start again.

Rear windows are limited due to the incursion of the rear wheel. Some designs put a fixed section at the rear of the window which allows the moving glass to go all the way down.

The only time my tires squeal is with slow speed turns on a slick, dry surface like a freshly sealed parking lot. The other mod is to get a Suburban.
