Hello everyone, I just bought a 2002 tahoe from my step mom a few months ago all of the sudden my check engine light came on I was told it was code p0174 I took it in the guy who looked at it i believe bull****ted me. He said that it is becuase i am just running it to low on gas, but here is what is happening. In the mornings when I start the car it rumbels harder then ever and fights to stay running. Since he had looked at it the check engine light has stayed on one day and blinked a few mornings here and there. I really don't believe the gas is the issue. I am also using gas such as shell and chevron and 76 so no it is not cheap gas either. Please what is going on with my car. I don't have the money to put out for another guy to rip me off. Once the car has been started and ran like that once then its fine the rest of the day but I know its not normal and or good. I do warm up the car for 3-5 minutes everyday so that shouldn't be it either. Anyone have a clue to what I can do or what the heck it is? Im a little nervous.

Thanks!!!

its a misfire code. you need a set of plugs and maybe one coil. you can look that codes up and it will tell you what cylender is misfiring

it says it could be a p0174 which is an 02 sensor or a number of other things, i just have to find someone i guess now who can really tell me what the issue is and fix it with out ripping me off.
