Ok, due to the fact that I am not sure I can hold my temper in for much longer, Im going to make this post short and sweet. 6:30 am, loud noise, golf ball sized hail, Tahoe in driveway....get the picture? What does one do? Have the dents popped out? Replace the hood and the roof? Anyone here in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex that is good at fixing this kind of stuff???

Did it hail in DFW this weekend? If it did I am REALLY glad I went to Houston over the weekend! I feel your pain though, I have lived in DFW my whole life and had to deal with hail damage several times. I know you already sent it in to a shop, but I have had excellent results with the Service King in Arlington. They took every hint of hail damage out of my 4-day-old V6 Accord last year.

Yup, it hailed...up in McKinney....within an area of about 1/2 square mile....where I happened to be. I took it to Service King in McKinney. The advisor has had the misfortune of dealing with me on a few other occasions, so he knows how anal I am. They have to replace the hood, it is completely butchered. If I can tell it has been in a body shop.....I am gonna have kittens....so lets hope they do a good job. Since you live in Arlington though, do you have a dealer that you are fond of? I am a dealer whore and can never quite find one that I want to settle down with, so if you have one that you highly recommend, let me know. Thanks!

I purchased from Friendly Chevy in Dallas; the dealership here in Ag-Town is Vandergriff and they are wayyyy to sleezy and pushy. I was treated very well at Friendly though by the sales manager Dan, and feel like I got a great deal without having to do any annoying haggling. As far has service, they offer free tires for life if you use them for all scheduled mainenance. Its off Stemmons Frwy and Motor St., ask for Dan and say Sean sent ya.

Mine is supposed to be ready tomorrow afternoon. However, I probably won't have time to go get it, so I'll probably get it Friday. The body shop manager *promised* I wouldn't be able to tell it was ever damaged. We'll see.
