Good Dist. Cap and Wires and Plugs

Getting ready to put on my msd ignition and coil. So Im gonna go ahead and do a full tune up on the beast:Chevy:. Question is what Dist. Cap is good for performance and street driving? Dont think msd makes one for my 97 Tahoe. But how bout accel, mallory? whats good?

and while were at it, what about some good spark plugs and a wire set? Anyone heard of E3 plugs? are they good? thanks again

I've always had good luck with ac delco caps and rotors (what I use on my setup). As for wires, ac delco, msd and taylor are all good. Plugs, I would do either stock acdelco's or NGK TR55's.

you guys saw what I used I think my plugs are some kind of splitfire platinum somthing. I dont have the boxes anymore or the receipt...
BW, take a before picture if you can.

I also will watch for distributor brands. I just called jiminey, he says Mallor and MSD are your major brands, and you should have success with either one.

Accel was reccomened to me by Black96 I think. he had one, but hadnt put it in yet. Maybe hell stop in and say if he got it in there or likes it.

First of all let me start by saying I finished the msd ignition install and dammmm.....that thing is a beast. better mpg way more low end torque. yikes

now then, the problem with msd for the cap n rotor is they dont make one for my year tahoe. sucks. Ill check into mallory and accel. what about wires? anyone have a good brand? thanks again guys
