<rolls eyes>

Hey, im on my 7th gm full size suv, and if i were still poor like i was when i was 16 (ok thats a stretch, i was poor, but not my parents, they just didnt share) but anyway i would still be driving my 87 k5, and be damn proud of it, sold it to a buddy and he talked to me last week, body just turned 400k miles, he has put a new engine in it, but not because it needed it, because he wanted to get rid of the 305 and put a 454 in it. could still be running on origional engine and tranny.

plus, if they keep makeing these, i can gaurentee you, if you saw me 20 years from now, i would have the latest and greatest model of the yukon xl, hopefully its still being made then. plus maybe 5 or six previous generations before then , and later this summer i plan on getting a silverado or sierra. gm stole my heart way back, if they wanna break that by getting rid of the gmt 900 line, then fine, ford expidetions and f450 super dutys from here on out.

I am absolutely spoiled on the new GMT 900, but I feel good seeing an old Burben from the 70's still soldiering on.

Yeah, but the idea is to not import any fuel at all would be a better solution as depending on someone else is a huge mistake and make us a weak nation.

I agree energy independence is an end goal, but a first step is to get our energy from a country that doesn't hate our guts...
