Has anyone seen the GM hitch closeout and what is your initial impression. Does it stick out or does it look like it belongs. Would like some comments before I purchase.

I've got one. Nice paint match and fit. Vehicle looks unfinished without it.

Thanks for the responses, sounds good and looks great. This should be part of the truck when ordered. If anyone has any other photos please post especially Gold Mist. thanks

I recently purchased and installed one as well. Installation was easy, only requiring a drill. Good thing is that if you ever remove it, the drilled holes are not noticable at all.

Anyways, I echo the remarks that the ride doesn't look "finished" without it, as it creates a much smoother look indeed. Now all I notice when I see 99% of the Tahoes/Suburbans out there is the big gaping holes in their bumpers.

I definately recommend this cosmetic upgrade!

I bought one for my hoe but haven't installed it yet, my question is how fast does it come off when you want to use the hitch???

I didn't bother to drill the holes for the bracket. Instead I bought some exterior grade double sided foam tape and attached the bracket. The plastic mounting ears on the cover will break before the bracket gives way.
