Those are your RPO codes - alot of our tahoes/yukons/silverados/sierras etc have alot of the same ones in there - but they are Vehicle specific and they tell you what all options are available on your vehicle - i have an RPO master list that is PDF format - but i also have a couple of websites that will let you put them in yourself..

http://www.camarosource.ca/php/camaro_info_db/index.php?act=decoding&year=1971&tm=1 -- down really close to the bottom says RPO Decoder

http://www.lonestarthunder.com/m_rpo.php - just a site

http://aplsweb.com/Topics/TopicPix/RPO.pdf -- the PDF file RPO Master list (this one came from FSC)

sorry to thread jack sasquatch. I have a question about the RPO codes...My 97 Tahoe LT 2 door has Z71 as one of the codes on my sticker. Does that mean that my Tahoe is a "Z71", or does that just mean that it has the off road package? I always thought it was the off road package that made it a "Z71". Am I missing something?:ack:

mike,

that would mean your tahoe is a Z71 which is the off road pkg.

So the whole Z71 thing, special decals, is really just a marketing tactic, not a special model then? And my Tahoe is a Z71 without the badging. Thanks for clearing that up guys.

My 97 Yukon has the offroad package as well, skid plates and all those goodies - was thinking before i sold it to put that all on my 99.. but im undecided... because im def. not taking my 99 back off-road
