front end noises

hey all,just checking if anyone has any front end noises,in their ho.
i have a 08 ltz,with 1900 mls,noises everytime i hit a bump or pothole.took it to the dealer and they could not find anything.{so they say}
i looked at the control arms and shocks ad they were all tight,
thanx for any help.

What happens if you sand on the rear bumper and bounce? Do you hear anything then?

When my wife's was doing that, I found a bunch of cracked boots. One on the passenger lower balljoint, and both tie rod ends. So run your fingers along all of those boots under there and check for cracks.

My suspention makes all kind of noises when it is colder than about 25 degrees out. Very quiet otherwise.

What kind of noises? Almost sounds like a hydraulic piston activating - squishing sound. I have the Z71 model and it sounds like the Rancho off-road shocks I had on my other SUV. FYI, the Z71 has upgraded shocks.

Sounds like hard rubber against cold steel... mine is 3LT 4x2 without z71.
