First let me preface that I am new to the forum and apologize if this was addressed somewhere else

I have a 2007 Tahoe 4x that seems to have a very random sound that can only be described as a sudden grind/shudder. It feels like it is coming from the front passenger side.

I replaced the front hub bearings on both sides a few months ago. The front CVs from a visual inspection look good. No drips or issues with the front diff. I drained the front diff and no metal buildup in the plug.

I am at a loss. On a 13 hour drive it happend 8 times and I can drive around town for days/weeks and no issue. Transmission is perfectly smooth, no noise cornering, accelerating or deceleration.

Open to suggestions.

Thanks for the comment. I replaced both hub bearings and it still occurs infrequently with no dash lights/codes. No change in anything other than the sound. I wonder if it could be an output shaft seal breaking apart?
