so...

busted my right fog light lense and bulb with a rock im guessin' about a week after i bought the truck. replaced it, thought all was said and done...not so fast.

busted out the left one coming home from the lake this weekend...there's another housing i need to buy, and a damn silverstar ultra to replace it.


any remedies you guys might no of, other than not havin fog lights at all??

well i'm guessing you're driving off a paved road,....i know they make headlight covers, but not so sure about foglites, how about a lift?

mostly drivin on the interstate...no real off roadin goin on when it's happened.

been tryin to convince the other half for a lift since i got it....


we'll consider that one a work in progress! HAHA

I just stopped trying to fix mine i had the same problem. So i drove with just one for a while, then last week i was tryin to climb a snow drift and busted the other one.! I would just leave them out unless u really need them i have seem some all metal housings that look stock.

One of mine was broken out when I bought it. The replacements are relatively cheap. $40 or so. I just replaced them both (for clarity's sake - one was gone and the other was very dirty and uncleanable). No troubles since then. I notice that they do shake around a lot though.

yea. the one i replaced on the RT side seemed to shake way more than the stock one that was on the LT side.....thought it was odd

^^^ sounds lucrative, you got these or no anyone who does? just wonderin how well they work....
