I have a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe 5.3L. It is vin Z if that helps at all. It has factory fog lights and comes with a factory switch. I replaced the bulbs, fuses, and the relay. I also pulled the switch to ensure it was properly plugged in. It was plugged in i have not checked with my test light or multimeter to ensure power. When i press the switch it doesn't appear to do anything. It has the basic lightup at night but when i push the button nothing lights up on the dash and the button does not get any brighter. The fogs just will not turn on. I am about ready to run my own switch and call it a day but would like to keep it factory.
Thanks in advance,
Joe

just as an fyi, these fogs suck and a VERY SMALL orange light lights up in the corner when you turn them on, i would turn the headlights off and push the button and see if anything pops on, as i say the fogs on here SUCK. there is nothing on the dash that lets you know their on. Or have someone stand in front and you push the button to see if they turn on. all i know. ;)

I thought I read somewhere there is a relay to power the fogs once the headlights or parking lights are on. Could be the relay is shot. It might be located under the hood in the electrical fuse box.....Just thinking outloud here.

im not sure about this but check both fuse boxes (the one next to the battery and the one on the side side of the dash by the driver's side) The first time i put LED tailights on my 05 i was so excited to see what they would look like that i accidentally reversed the polarities on the plugs and ended upo with no tailights at all. And after about 3 hours of searching for the problem, i realized that the tailights had like 10 thousand fuses all over the place combined between both boxes. So id recheck the fuses at both fuse boxes and check with a tester at the fuse box too to see if power is even getting to that particular slot in the box
