Hi everyone,

Newbie here. This is a great forum!

I am just beginning to look for my Tahoe and was wondering if anyone had used a fleet dealer. Seems like it would be a way to get a great price without much haggling, but I'm sure there is a catch. I'm not too picky, just want a used '07.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Actually, fleet makes more profit per vehicle then the New Car department. Internet departments are the big thing now with dealers. Also dealing with this department you can do a lot of leg work and negotiations over the phone and email before setting foot in the dealer.

Yep, just did and I recommend it. Made my deal below invoice by email. Nowadays it seems like Fleet and Internet Managers are merged into the same person very often. You still have to do your homework to get a deal, though. However, I don't think they deal with used cars, as their purpose is to increase factory deliveries. Good Luck.
