Hello all finally got my first tahoe here. 2001 lt 5.3 101,000 Chevrolet dealer serviced its whole life owners manual style. Truck came with 265/70r16 uni royal cross country tires or something like that. Hand calculated around 13 or so mpg dead of winter with 4x4 use. Upgraded to new bf good rich at 265/75r16 and with babying the truck and no 4 wheel use I can't seem to budge 11.7. Was wondering if the change of tire can have that much effect or if the odometer is off a little thus the lower calculation. Truck is in top notch shape. Plugs wires fuel filter and o2s to be changed soon just as 100k service. Thanks for the time.
