Finding a replacement part

Hi.. I'm new here and not sure if this has ever come up..

I looked at the Tahoe today and saw that the foglamp lens was missing on the drivers side. Don't know where it went..

Can't seem to find a lens replacement on line..

Where could I find a part # and can I just replace the lens cover??

I figure the dealer has got to be the most $$$$$.. so suggestions to where I can find what I need would be appreciated.. gmdirectparts doesn't seem to have it unless it's something that will only come up if I type in the part #.

Dont know what year your truck is so i just used 2000-2006. I also have the lense cover missing. I plan on buying some lexan or other plexigalss and cut a piece to fit and attach using silicone.

Sorry.. it's a 2005 Tahoe..

That's all I've seen for replacements are the entire lamp assy.. I only once found a lens replacement and it specified passenger side..

Don't know if the lens fell off or broke off, but there's nothing left but open fog light!

Let me take a look at mine. I'm having my Tahoe repainted and am installing fog lamps from an '04 to go in my SS bumper, so I don't have much use for the old one's. One of my original fog lamps lost a lense and the other just wasn't working. If it's the driver's side that has the lense still in it, I'll sell you the whole assembly for $10 shipped to you if you're interested.

they don't sell just the lens, it's the entire assembly that has to be replaced. sorry for the bad news.

I'm going to check around at junk yards then to see if I can get the lens. If not, maybe we can cut a piece of plastic we have hanging around and silicone it on like Sepiroth.
