Pedders suspension. They are big in the GTO scene.

We are having it installed today on my wife's Tahoe by Vengeance Racing in Atlanta. Picking it up tomorrow morning. Its says is lowers 2.4", but we parked their identical LTZ shop Tahoe head to head with ours and it seemed much lower. There were 2 hands clearance from our rear tires to fender well, and one hand on theirs. Plus, we test drove it, and the ride was awesome! Still as comfy as stock but a lot less body roll.

For the autoride, it comes with new control rods that allow it to work normally and keeps full towing capability.

It runs around $400 for the kit, and we are getting it installed and aligned for $750 total.

Looks good. Hard to believe that it doesn't make the ride stiffer since with a shorter spring you have to go with a stiffer spring to prevent bottoming out on the bump stops. Looks like it would cost more like $480 with the control rods. Shipping ???

Rear drop is 3.28", so that's probably why it's "one hand" lower in the rear vs. yours.

How about some before and after pics? :cool2:

I still need pictures but the reason the back wasn't lower was because the shop didn't put the shorter arms in for the self levelling supsension, even though they told us several times that they did. After comparing our truck to Auburn's truck and contacting the suspension manufacturer, the shop said the owner didn't actually install them, but that he went home sick, and another guy did the install and didn't know how to put them on, so he just left them off. It didn't matter that the day we picked it up and specifically asked the owner if he installed the rods, he said he did, and 3 days later when I picked up the spare parts he also told me that he destroyed the old ones removing them. Once the manufacturer shipped me the missing pieces, I finished the install, and it dropped nicely.

Oh yeah, and even though I asked a couple times if it affected towing/payload, and was told they didn't, when I got the rods from the manufacturer, the install instructions said they are not for towing, as they are sport springs.

Pedders suspension items are Very Big with the late model GTO and their products are killer.
LS1GTO.COM has a pedders sponsor. His name is Frank from Rossi Pontiac,GMC in NJ. His screen name is "My First GTO". A very accomodating person. I used some of their stuff when I owned the GTO.

The product is awesome! The shop experience wasn't so much though. We won't even go into all the problems with my supercharger install on my C6 here with them.

I just want to clear up some of my previous posts about Vengeance Racing. It was a very complicated 4 person miscommunication, a comedy of errors if you will, but I don't believe that they intentionally lied to me or intentionally left parts out. After a great dialog with them, while it is something they couldn't write for a movie, it truly was a big chain of miscommunication.

My thanks go out to Frank Beck. I'm trying the Pedders lowering springs and rear shocks out and will report back here. Frank seems to be a really good guy and I can't wait to try these products. Although I haven't yet installed these items, I expect great things. If anyone doubts it, check out the www.peddersusa.com website. They have a video clip of a 2007 Tahoe racing around an autocross track and it looks awesome!

I would like to see a non auto leveling GMT900. The auto leveling kit they show online still has a pretty good rake to it. I want a level look.

If you wouldn't have done anything to the front, would the rear still be even or slight higher than the front?? Looks nice!!

I've got not problem with the stance as is shown. I like the fact that its lower than stock, but not crazy low such that it becomes a useless ground scraping beast. I'm next!
