Here is the current specs of the truck along with all the new goodies and photos.
1997 Prerunner Tahoe (Deva- named after my mom because shes high maintenance, and loves expensive things. RIP mom)
She underwent a built LQ4 swap, slight head work, stock truck intake manifold (i tow occasionally and the extra tq is nice) Ported 90mm throttle body, Schoenfeld LS to OBS longtube headers into an offroad xpipe, followed by Borla XR1 race mufflers with turndowns just before the axle, I have always wanted true duals and now i made it happen! Melling oil pump, custom CAI, unlocked ECU, hand built wiring harness, LS6 cam, springs and pushrods.... I know im forgetting alot. It all connects to a Built 4L80e. Tuning for the 6L will be done on the dyno followed by a street fine tuning, then another dyno session to see the numbers. MAFless speed density tune.
Good news and bad.
Truck is done and pulls like a locomotive. Even with a bad trans. Which appears to have been bad for quite a long time, but the cracked head and missfires kept the hp and torque down so low it didn't catastrophically fail. It had felt funny but I just attributed that too the v8 running as a v6 and occasionally a v8 lol.
So she's back in the shop for an 80e and some additional tuning and mods. Shop owner I'd now allowing unlimited pulls to get her right. The speed density tune is awesome but I'm going wideband and possibly meth. The ls6 cam added 0 hp or torque but made the curve ramp consistently gaining all the way to shift at 5600 (which will change with the 80) so on a broken trans with the equivalent of a broken harbor freight converts she put 330 hp and 340 ftlbs down. Couldn't get the converter to lock ever. She sounds like armageddon and with the bad trans, bouncing off the limiter for 3/4 a second I still cut a sub 6 0-60.
Well as the 4l80e gets installed I'll toss up some finished engine bay pics.
For suspension its heimed and uniballed. 4 over arms, moly steering linkages, 3 inch lift spindles, Fox 2.0 coil overs ran through the frame, AGR super box 2 and super pump (to rid myself of that ridiculous speed sensitive steering) custom traction bars and leafs with blocks out back which I'm changing soon. Hannaman 3 up 4 out glass fenders, rolling on 35 12.5 17s. 4.56 rear gears.
I'm sure I'm forgetting tons of little stuff. After the 6.0 is in im changing up the rear suspension setup. Deavers and coil overs to match the front.
I may do a 5 over I-beam setup soon and sell off the A-arm stuff, but we will see how well my new business pays.
Here's pics.
Before i swapped to 17" rims.
Installed.
More goodies going in as the 4l80e gets swapped in as well as the locker.

Early morning pics of both my babies.

Cant wait to get the fat white hoe back.
I also picked up a PLX DM100 OBD2 scan gauge that will eventually read boost, fuel pressure and IAT. Heres a little test video making sure it works as the box was crunched. I've got the OBD1 version in the Typhoon reading WBo2. I love these gauges.

Thats it for now. More video once i get her back.
