I used to have my exhaust exit out the back and if you had the back glass open while driving the fumes would enter. When it was closed, no fumes would come in, at least none that I could smell. Now I just have it dumped before the axle (my drop makes it very tight to pass two 3" pipes over the axle).

Not True! I have Dual Out the Rear piping cannot flood the cabin with exhaust fumes. I have dual piping and the only time I smell exhaust is when I got the tailgate window open to smell the sweet burning exhaust!
