You should see 95TwinTT's exhaust setup. That is ridiculously awesome:

Well, I'll say this:

When I installed my headers in my truck (kinda like what you plan to get; I have Edelbrock TES ceramic coated headers) I didn't have a mig welder or anything like that available to me at the time... so I had no way of attaching my exhaust to my new Y-pipe the night that I finished the project. So, I ended up getting my exhaust welded back on by midas (which was a mistake, but that's a story for another day). I made an appointment with them at the end of the week, so I was driving around all week with completely open headers; no cats or mufflers. All the sound was coming straight from the cylinders to the headers and out the Y-pipe, which is equivalent to cutouts.

All I know is, it sounded loud and mighty as all hell! I wish I could have kept the exhaust unwelded (except the complete loss of back pressure did kill my mileage and hurt my performance a bit I think). That thing was so loud and awesome. Just turning it on gave me goosebumps, hearing that 5.7L 350 just explode into action, and that was just with a stock cam and heads.

V8 sound = the epitome of awesome
