i got a 02 tahoe i had dual exhaust put on it like a year ago (single in/ dual out). since then i lowered my truck and whenever i would hit bumps and stuff i would hear my axle hit the pipes. its only a 2/3 djm drop. im curious if anyone else has run into this problem or if anyone has done custom pipes in front of the axle like exiting under the running boards????

my 03 has single 3" in dual 2.5" out, after I lowered mine I just added dumps, cut off past the muffler facing down. Muffler is a Flowmaster.

I had to dump mine right in front of the axle since the 3/5 drop. I'm running a single-chambered 10 series Flowmaster with a turndown. I have a couple rectangular tips from my old 4th gen LT1 camaro that I painted black. Right after the holidays, I'm going to reroute the exhaust and mount 'em side by side, flush with the running board right in front of the back wheel.

Mine doesn't rub, magnaflow catback with just over 4.5" drop in the back. I'd take it back to the shop and have them fix it for you.

i did take it back to the shop but ofcousre they want to charge me to re-bend the tails. so for the quick fix i cut the tails and added dumps like most of you. however isnt there a risk of the exhaust fumes entering the passenger compartment with them right under it?? jkmotorsports i would love to see pics when you do the tips under the running board, i was thinking the same thing. thanks for all your replys
