Engine & Transmission Swap - Where to buy?

Suggestions for where to purchase the best performance vs price engine and transmission new. 5.7L & 4L60E - Of course I can google, and have.. but I'm venturing into something I never have before and want to ensure I get quality parts at a fair price. Looking to spend no more than $5,000, thhe cheaper the better though.

Vehicle 94 GMC Yukon, Transmission is 4x4.

If anyone has any other suggestions of maybe a differen't motor/transmission combo be my guest, not looking for crazy horsepower or torque, just want a new mechanically running vehicle, extra hp/tq are a +

IIRC in 1996 the G30 vans were still running a TBI 350 with vortec heads/compatible intake to the TBI.... would want the ECM and engine.... Of course if it didnt have roller cam in it, my 95 block was ready for one, that would be a quick upgrade.....
