I have been having a problem for some time and I cant seem to figure it out. When I pull on long inclines or when I accelerate over a long period of time my engine starts to vibrate like its starving for gas or getting to much fuel, not sure which) (I think its starving actually.

On severe occasions I will get a misfire CEL code. I replaced the fuel filter, fuel pump so far. Clean the MAS sensor also. under normal driving conditions it seems to run fine.

Last year I put dual exhaust on behind the CAT converter and added a K&N air filter, I am starting to wonder if I need some type of OEM fuel management control to regulate the fuel flow with these add on's, similar to what I have on my Harley.

Any thoughts, just starting this to get some discussion going, it has me baffled.

I narrowed my issue down to the fuel system , most likely the injectors. I ran a total of 4 bottles of Chevron Techron fuel system cleaner through the engine over that last 4 weeks and the problem has gone away. I don't get the misfire or rough acceleration I was getting on long hills. Hope this helps.
