engine hours

06 tahoe z71, with the dic, do the engine hours ever reset automatically when it reaches a certain point, i was neer a thousand hours and the next time i looked it said 3.6 hrs.

my 06 yukon is now at 1374, it didnt reset for me and i have even had a new battery put in. Somthings wrong
