Greetings All, I have installed a new FI spider on the 1996 Tahoe 4dr, 4wd, 5.7L V-8. Almost everything is back together except the blue connector shown in the photos next to the orange tag on the wiring harness. My notes tell me that it was mounted on an upper manifold stud bracket below the PCV? hose. I marked it as J3 which would mean that three items were on the bracket (a second item is a vacuum hose). I can find no other items and am worried that I have somehow lost a connection. Can anyone tell me where this blue connector belongs? FWIW the wiring to the main harness is very short. Much thanks, -Bret

Hello LesterL ... there is a single GREEN wire that seems to go from the blue connector to a main wiring harness. -Bret

Follow Up: I found the other end of the connector (it had fallen to the exhaust manifold around #7 cylinder). It seems to be coming from the water temperature plug at Spark Plug level on the drivers side of the block. I have reconnected it. All seems to be well.

@lesterl this was the last item on the MFI installation. I was happy that I did not run the engine to temp last night or I might have melted the connector. Cheers!
