Hey guys I have a 99 4 dr hoe that I bought a few months ago and I knew when I bought it that a few things were wrong with it and have since repaired the major ones. Now I am gonna work on the electric locks in which the front doors and the rear barn doors will not lock electronically but the two back passenger doors do. When I push the electric lock button it looks like both front locks are trying to engage but never make it. Could this be the actuator or might it be something electrical? Thanks for any of yall's help!

My barn door lock stopped working on my 99 Tahoe. I cleaned the electrical contacts for the barn doors and that got them working again. They are located inside the right barn door on the upper part of the window frame and door jam.
I used 800 grit sand paper to shine them up. The rear defrost contacts are there also , same thing on the left door. Hope this helps.

It's the door lock actuators. Me and my dad have 99 Tahoes and we both had to replace all of the door lock actuators last year. If you seem to have any kind of issues like sometimes it locks and sometimes it doesn't. Then replace the actuator.
