E85, better mileage than expected!

Really? that's the first I have ever heard that.:skep:

I just looked it up on the z71tahoe-suburban site and I found a post from somebody else saying that it smelled. It's not like you're going to smell it just driving along, the only time I notice it is if I get out while my engine is still on or if I park in the garage. Nothing not to use E85 over, but its just not a great smell if you get a good whif of it :wow: .

I filled it up with gas tonight when I got back to Birmingham (I did pretty good the trip computer averaged 14.3 for the tank, 50/50 mix of highway and city). I think I got about 260 miles out of it. It actually ended up being cheaper than using gas with the price difference. But back to the point, the smell went away when I put gas in the tank, so thats all I can figure out that it was.
