DVD Player shows Title, chapter and time

We are testing/looking at buying a 2005 Yukon XL SLT. So far we really like it, last night I tried out the DVD player and found that the chapter, title and time show up at the bottom of the screen no matter what movie you have in. Does anyone know how to take that off?

do you have the remote ? it's a stupid feature that gets activated when someone is playing with the remote for the DVD its in the menu options .

i gotta go now see how i got the stupid thing off
