Dual Straight Pipes or Y Into Single Straight

I am going to get my 97 Tahoe Straight Piped. I just want a little input on what would sound better. Obviously they both will be loud, but I am wondering if Y'd the duals into a single straight pipe if it would sound better. I have stock everything right now. I just want to make the best choice before I go get it done.

either will give u close to the same sound. but if you do true duals i would add a h or x pipe.

I would start with headers and dual pipes, that would give the best sound.
