Drop-In Aftermarket Distributors

Im thinking of getting a new, better-than-stock distributor. Have any of you guys ( or gals) put one of these in? did you like it?
I'm eyeballing the MSD brand. but would love to hear some of your suggestions.

do youhave a model number or no?

I dont think its hard to exchange these things, but I cant say for sure, since I ve never done it. I would like to try it myself... i think.
