DRL Daytime running lights

i want to disable my daytime running lights on my 2004 tahoe what is the easiest way ,will simply taking out the drl Relay work with no other ill effect or maybe taking the two prongs off of the light bulbs on the drl side

thanks looked the other day and had a relay and fuse in the under hood fusebox just unpluged the 10 amp fuse ,thats it ,i put the nice clear diamondback lenses a while back and dont want them heating up all day and clouding them up like all tahoes i see !

You might consider installing LED DRL on your truck they don't heat up and plus you can get them in a bright white instead of the yellow/white stockers. looks good to. Go to superbrightled.com they have every led conversion for just about every light on the tahoe. I think the ones you need are the 3157
