On my 98 2door Tahoe the DS mirror glass will not stat still while driving down road. It is constantly vibrating. The glass just feel loose in the housing. The tab one the inside back of mirror is broke off can this be the cause??? I hung the mirrir and it broke the plastic tab. Can these mirror glasses be purchased or wil have to replace whole mirror??? Will the glass come complete with studs on back and the tab??

the glass can be purchased, but its pricey. I just replaced my mirrors on my truck for 60 bucks shipped, brand new. its prolly cheaper to just replace the mirror

i got a mirror for 10 bucks at a local Murrays or ORiellys.
