Dome Light will not turn on Tahoe 96'

I have a 96 Tahoe and the dome light will not turn on only when I open the doors. Turns on with the switch just not when I open the doors. Any ideas out there? Thanks

Pull the drivers door pin switch out and make shure the wires are hooked up there.....

There is a little button next to where you turn your head lights on that sets the dome light for doors open or not. Have you checked that?
