Does anyone know anything about traffic accidents (i.e. insurance)

The insurance adjuster won't say squat.

He is just an adjuster and is there for mainly one purpose, to appraise the value of the damage sustained to your truck.

If the officer and the other party that was involved didn't say anything and there is nothing in the police report then your off scott free.

Collect your money and get your bumper fixed.

If it were on the police report that the driver stated that he didn't see your brake lights due to the fact that the lights were blacked out then you would have a 50/50 at fault accident.

Well, the adjuster stopped by this afternoon. It looks like i will not only be replacing my bumper, but i will be getting some new suspension sooner than later. The adjuster really liked my truck and he was pretty good to me. He even offered to help me pull the bumper. Cool guy!

I'm getting in a little late on this thread. That sucks Ballsie! I don't know what part of Austin you're in, and I doubt you need them now, but I have some stockers up north if you need to use them. Mine is still in the shop getting re-done, but is looking good from the parts that are done. Heading down the home stretch now...THANK GOD!!!
