Dead mis in 2nd cylinder

Ok i have a 1997 tahoe which i purchased from ebay cheap knowing it had a miss so i did the normal checks first new plugs, wires, dis. cap, rotor button. still nothing so i took off my intake noticed a leak into cylinders not just the number 2 due to a gasket break i went ahead while it was apart put brand new 350 vortec heads on and set them reinstalled everything still a mis so i went ahead and replaced all my fuel injectors and still a mis check engine light is on and so i pluged the code reader only to find out what i already know all it says is number 2 cylinder mis could this be in my electric system any ideas would be very much appreashted thanks:yesnod:

do you have compression in cylinder2? also check the big square plug on top of the intake it is for the injectors look close for a widened terminal or any broken wires

hey yes to the compression test ill check out the plug first thing tomorrow thanks alot

ok so everything looked ok if i hooked up a test light could i probe thoese wires while truck is running and the light from the tester come on if working?
