De-running board-ed pics?

Anyone else take off their running boards? Debating taking them off, would love to see some pics... especially black!

I doubt many people have done this......it's probably even more rare that someone has done it in black. So I did a quick photochop and removed some off a black one for you. Not the best chop but it will give you an idea.

I've got the front end leveled and BFG All-Terrains, so i thought it might look like i have a lil more clearance underneath--make it look like its sitting higher.

I doubt i'll do it, just looking for cheap/free mods to do while i'm saving up for an exhaust

If you are looking for more of an off-road look.....look into some N-Fab nerf bars. I had a set on my 06 lifted Tacoma and they are sweet. Go with the 4 step

I've never seen them on an 07 Tahoe....might look good.

Have you seen the retractable running boards? It was a "must have" feature on my Denali. When you open/close the doors they fold/unfold automatically. Real sweet feature.

I did see a few companies online that sold similar boards.

not to thread jack but on the option of removing the running boards... anyone have a Z71 and want to remove the plastic around the running boards? wonder what that would look like? might try that tomorrow and see what it looks like...
