All Tahoes have DTR lights for safety....but I can't read the dash gauges while driving on a sunny day, not safe for sure. Girl friends HYLANDER lights up like a Christmas tree. Easy to see the gauges no matter how bright a day or how dark your sun glasses are.
How do I connect the DTR lights wiring to the dash lights to have them light up all the time without turning on the headlamps? 2007 model. Should be an easy do, just need to know how. Thanks

I'm a little confused. Not sure how the DRL's are related to what you're seeing on your dash?

I have a 2008 LT Tahoe with "needle" gauges, it is not a digital dash. All I do is turn the little knob on the left side of the steering wheel, on the panel to adjust the brightness of the gauges.

Doesn't your 2007 Tahoe have these DRL's?

Can you clarify?

Perhaps too much in first post. How about this... I want my dash lights to light up all the time while driving without turning on the park lights or headlights. What wire do I tap into to do this? I can't see the gauges during the day while driving with sunglasses on. Thanks

My guess would the be the light sensor that senses wether it's daylight or night time is not working correctly, if the sensor thinks it dark out it well dim dash lights making hard to see during day.
