Dashboard Creek

Hello everyone I am new to Tahoe forums and I have
annoying problem. The whole dashboard on my 04' Tahoe creeks
really loud. Whenever I'm driving over bumps or a rough street it gets
worse. It is the most annoying thing ever.

I'm wondering if anyone can help me solve this problem? Please

My 2004 Chevy Tahoe has an annoying problem. In fact it's the most annoying thing ever. My dashboard creeks really loud when I'm driving. And when I drive over bumps or potholes it's even it's louder!

Can anyone shed any light on my situation?

Desperate for a solution.

usually when the dashes are assembled and installed in the vehicle, they place rubber or foam dampeners in areas that meet other body panels or areas that come into contact with other surfaces. maybe if you remove the stereo unit and the heater controls, you may be able to get behind and see what may be causing your creeking. Check underneath the dash area in the footwells as well. Also since you have owned the vehicle, did you have anyone under there for repairs? If so, maybe it wasnt reassembled correctly.

Hey Tonymac, thank you so much. My Dashboard creek
has been driving crazy for 2yrs and I can't take it anymore.
I will try to remove the dashboard and take a deeper look this week.
Also, I had an after market stereo installed back then so I will look into it.

I have a creek in my dash but only on the driverside it seems. Let me know how you make out WILL5150
