I have a 2002 Tahoe Z71 I bought used a few months back.
It has an aftermarket stereo in it that didn't really work.
So I figured I could figure it out myself.
So here is what I got.
I pulled the radio out, and tested some old speakers to it, and they worked.
The lights and functions work on the radio. And one tweeter in the rear works 'intermittently'.
When I was messing with the radio, it made my dash lights stop working.
So now I have a radio that sometimes works with one speaker in the rear and no dash lights.
My mechanic says it's the dimmer switch. The audio guy says it's the interface that controls my onstar , door chimes, and 'possibly' my dash lights.
Anyone have any ideas before I dump a **** ton of money on this?
