Okay guys I am usually pretty good at this but this has got me. Here comes a hopefully quick and unboring overview. 2300 miles ago i did a tire rotate, oil change and fuel filter change. Within in a week my fuel pump started making noise; but has been running fine. About 400 or so miles ago my truck has taken longer on its intial start up. No prob just hold the key and listen to pump fuel and then turn key, right. Today, my first day of vacation I put my truck on a lift replaced the upper ball joints. My journey home however was irritating. I drove about 20 miles from the shop in stop and go traffic. As soon as I got to a street where the posted speed limit is 35mph; my tahoe started cutting out around 2500 rpm. I made a right turn and accelerated to speed but not with the ease I normally have. I get it to my buddy house and throw it in park and hammer the throttle. Still wants to cut out. My thoughts are fuel pump not producing enough pressure or possibly somehow and probably my distributor cap and rotor. This sucks because I am in the middle of moving to my new house and this is the only mode of transportion I have to haul my crap. It's not like I can haul it on the back of my motorcycle.:nonod: Also the fuel pump was replace about a year ago. But we know how that goes. Any and all suggestions and recomendations will be greatly appreciated and I wish all could drink a beer and work on this beast together
