What is it about barn doors. Can anyone out there tell me what the difference is about the tails. Every set I look at they say Will not fit Barndoors. Anyone out there that can shed some light on the subject would be greatly appreciated

The lens aren't as wide to accomodate the doors swinging open.

+1. Also, I think it might have something to do with the placement of the back-up lights and the barn door hindges, but I'm not sure. The reason I say this is because any barn door LED lights I see always have the back-up lights in the middle, and not the bottom of the lense.
Check out these lights I bought for my 'Hoe with barn doors. My post is about midway down. They look great in person and are suppose to fit barn doors. I haven't had a chance to install them yet because my Tahoe is in the process of being painted, but in the picture on Ebay, they had them installed on one with barn doors.

how about some pics of the backside of a barnyard door light, and i'll snap some pics of my led light for comparison. If there's a major difference that can be seen. Or maybe we can take measurements.
