I've been having problems with my cruise control. It won't activate 95% of the time. I read on other threads that some problems with the cruise control are caused by the brake light (people replacing the bulbs with LED bulbs, lights burned out, etc.)

I tested my brakes and when you touch the brake pedal, the brake lights come on. When you press a bit harder, the brake lights go out. When you floor the brakes, the brake lights come back on.

I'm going to guess that this is a bad brake switch?

Hummm... now that I think about it, the brake switch is connected to my remote start. I might have to disconnect remote start to test this. Does that sound right?

Anyone else have this problem?
