Converting To Power Fold Mirrors?

Does anyone have the link to the thread? It was a thread on this forum that had a link to another forum. This forum search does not work well at all.

Anyone with information on what needs to be done let me know. Mirror Part numbers? Are all the mirrors with turn singnals in them heated and power fold?

I think the mirrors are plug and play with the exception of going to the dealer to have them flash your system.

All I can tell you is that yes, I believe the one with the turn signals is indeed heated and power fold. In the other thread I wanna say the guy paid about $850 for the parts?? Don't know if it's worth that but I sure do love these mirrors. I'd try to find them off a wrecked one somewhere, could be a good deal there if you look hard enough. The colored or chrome mirror caps come and go, obviously. Good luck.

Link should work now.

Two mirrors are required and Driver Side Door Switch. You can get the mirrors off ebay for about 100 bucks a piece. gmpartsdirect has door switch for I think $76. Plus it seems like a average $80 for programing from dealer.
