Control switches on drivers door '07 Z71

Just writing to know if anyone has had this problem. Just recently, I noticed
that the power will go out for the control switches on the drivers door for
no reason. Windows and mirrors won't work. What I have to do is give the
door a hard shot with my fist once or twice and power comes back on. This
is in addition to the drivers window making a high pitched squeal when I put
it up or down. Anyone have any suggestions before I make the dreaded trip
back to the dealer..? Thanks.

Probably a bad connection and a misaligned window track. Let the dealer fix it. Then it's on the history.

That's what I figured. I was just hoping for a fix to avoid the trip to the dealer.
