Console question

I have a 97 Tahoe and would like to have a center console that goes all the way to the dash like the later models. Anyone have any experience on which one if any will fit?

I have a 1998 Tahoe and have replaced the console with one out of a 1999-2000 old body style Cadillac escalade. The 1999 and 2000 gmc denali has the same console in it. it fits perfect with no mods.. the gmc denali has the grey and tan consoles and the caddy has the tan. I have the grey interior so I had to dye paint it to match but the paint is easy to get at auto parts stores.. just make sure you follow the directions on the can or it will not turn out good! mine looks great!

Does yours have 4WD with a floor shift or push button on the dash? I am looking at doing the same with my 99 Tahoe but my 4WD shifter is on the floor.
