very nice... darker tails would be better... maybe if you get time one day you could take a close up of the backup camera...
Forgive my ignorance but how do you get into the vehicle with no handles?
does that just work for the drivers side or can you pop all doors? for instance if you have others with you how do they get in
Completely understandable man, I get asked that on a daily basis. If you scroll up you will see a close up pictures of the inside of the door. There is a cylinder holding on to a section of stainless steel wire. That cylinder is actually an electro-magnet with 75lbs of pulling force. When a button is pressed on my key remote, a receiver box pulses power to the electro-magnet (actuator) and pulls the latch as if you would have had you pulled the handle. A spring loaded push at the bottom of the door pops the door out about 6 inches.
If anyone wants my old carbon fiber tails, you can have them for free, just pay the shipping. I was going to toss them, but if someone wants here wants them, they're yours. They have a couple flaws but look pretty damn good, for being free.
Update on the truck, I stopped by line-x to drop off the steps from the running boards, and apparently they can color match line-X now!! Some guy got his 105th Harley anni Ford done in the same copper I painted my truck, and it looked bas ass. So I told him to do the steps in copper line-x. With the gloss black step surrounds it should look pretty sweet. I'll post pics once they are on.
i think it'll look better with stock smoked out tail lightsss !
Finally, Finally my running boards are done, and my copper color matched line-x coated steps are installed. I must say it looks hot! It came out better then I expected, props to Line-X of Lauderdale here in south florida, they def know what they are doing.
